This is the Sean Rowe that I’m going to, which will pretty much eat up my entire evening. It’s in DC, so if you end up going I’ll be, again, the middle-aged geek with no ink who’s drinking a Coke*. Should be fun!
.@sean_rowe will be here on 4/28, in just two days! Get tickets https://t.co/zj2PlfrXrp (Doors 6:30pm, $15)

*I have nothing against booze, but I’ll be driving back home after dark and by myself on the Beltway. I don’t need further complications there, you know what I mean?
I guess I’m not familiar with Sean Rowe. Is he Country, or Western?
He’s this.

Have fun!

My youngest has learned that Babymetal is coming to our area this summer and really wants to go.
Two problems with that:
They’re opening for Korn.
And my wife is extremely hostile to the idea.
So how’d the concert go?
It was fun! It was a good live show. Sean finished up with Vincent Black Lightning (well, before being dragged back onto the stage to do one more set), which the crowd was obviously was expecting, while being too polite to actually demand. His intro singer Faye Webster was pretty good, too. I grabbed one of her albums.
Sounds great. I caught him in Philly on 4/27 and it was a very good show. I’m a bit jealous, he didn’t do “Vincent Black Lightning” for us. On the plus side I did get a signed version of his new album.
Anyway, I would like to thank you for introducing me to his music.
No problem. I was passing it along, anyway. Somebody told me, I told somebody, that’s how it works. 🙂
