I can’t understand why SNL just doesn’t do stuff like this all the time. You’d think it’d be the easy call, right? And this kind of comedy is not really all that hard to do, either! Anyway. I’ve been going through these for a bit tonight, so hey: enjoy.

SNL’s Celebrity Jeopardy bits are perhaps the finest comedy they’ve produced since the original cast days.
Side note- in this sketch, the SNL crew was originally trying to get Eddie Murphy to play Cosby rather than Keenan. However, Murphy deferred, feeling that the sketch was disrespectful to his old inspiration.

And Moe, you owe it to yourself to hunt down the rest of both the SNL Jeopardy sketches, and their spiritual inspiration , the High Q or Half Wits sketches from SCTV, which also featured Trebek.
It’s a tossup between Connery and Norm MacDonald’s Burt Reynolds for best guest.
