OK, fine, I get it: not everybody loves pumpkin spice. But I think that this exaggerates the revulsion. At least for some of you.

Is it pumpkin spice beer time?
I actually do like the pumpkin no-spice ales for Thanksgiving.
Understood. I just racked (bottled) some peanut butter cup porter. If it’s anything like https://www.karlstrauss.com/beer/peanut-butter-cup-porter/ I’ll be happy. I’m looking for a pumpkin recipe.

It’s like the Starbucks thing. If you want overpriced coffee served with a side of condescension, that’s your decision.
I’m not interested. Stop trying to recruit me. I don’t have to try it. I won’t love it. Just go do you, and leave me out of it.
Sadly, the Starbucks horchata is .. surprisingly good.
.
It’s not great as a Starbucks drink, nor is it great as a horchata .. so it has that in common with most of their products .. but it *does* save the trial-and-error that comes with trying to find a hole-in-the-wall taqueria that does *good* horchata while traveling.
