Principal photography is finished on it:
Tolkien explores the formative years of the orphaned author as he finds friendship, love and artistic inspiration among a group of fellow outcasts at school. This takes him into the outbreak of World War I, which threatens to tear the “fellowship” apart. All of these experiences would inspire Tolkien to write his famous Middle-Earth novels.
So, who’s starring in it? Oh, somebody that you almost certainly know: Nicholas Hoult. …What’s that? No, really: you know this guy.
Seriously.
You don’t think you know who he is? Fine.
WITNESS ME!
Yeah. From Nux to JRR Tolkien. I dunno about you, but I think that’s pretty freaking funny.
He has also played the younger Beast in the X-Men films.
And he was in some Jaguar commercials a couple years back.
Yeah, I recognized him as Hank McCoy.
Looks like he’s also playing J.D. Salinger in a movie called Rebel in the Rye that came out in September; the only thing I know about it is what I read on IMDB just now.
That was the fairly recent movie that had Mad Max as a supporting character, while a completely uninteresting chick was the main character?
.
Not even on video.
Not even on Netflix.
Dude. The main characters in that movie were the cars. And the action sequences involving them, which only used CGI when there was literally no other choice.
“The main characters in that movie were the cars.”
Which is perfectly fine, for other franchises! But I expect a semblance of a story with my Mad Max movies. If all I wanna see is car smashes I’ll go watch a Fast and Furious movie.
