I’m worried. This is maybe too in sync with my inner twelve year old. Is the actual Godzilla: King of the Monsters movie going to live up to the trailer?
Nah, it’ll be fine. There’s lots of kaiju taking various kinds of slaps at each other. That’s really all I need.
One of the biggest complaints about the recent American Godzilla movie was that every time Godzilla and one of the giant bugs was about to square off, the camera cut away. We didn’t get any kaiju on kaiju fighting until the end of the movie.
This trailer suggests that the people behind the new movie might be aware of that complaint.
I hate trailers some times. I always worry that they put in all the good bits and then when you go see the movie, you have seen those bits. Godzilla was like that (made worse by how often the move showed the effect of the monsters fighting rather than the monsters actually fighting.)

Hopefully the movie makers here have saved the best for the movie.
