I’m not even mad.
Amasia Entertainment is the latest production company to snatch up the right to The Green Hornet and they plan on producing a new movie that follows the adventures of Green Hornet and his sidekick Kato. The last time we saw The Green Hornet up on the big screen was the 2011 film that starred Seth Rogen. This new project will be a whole new reimagining.
But, seriously, what’s the point? It’s not like this has been a wildly successful and beloved series. The original wasn’t even a mildly successful and beloved series. No, look it up: The Green Hornet was on for a year, and when’s the last time you watched an episode? We remember it for Bruce Lee, who was indeed cool, but: Bruce Lee is also dead, alas. Which poor bastard do you want to offer up his career as a sacrifice to the cinematic gods?
And get off my lawn!
It’s not live action, but Dynamite did a few different short run comics for Green Hornet – as well as the Lone Ranger – that were pretty good, along with a bunch of other contract or creator owned stuff that is worth checking out.
The Green Horney totally owned on radio serials.

Also, peaches taste more like plums than pears do.
(Since I’m making irrelevant statements.)
