Oh, overseeing remote learning is so much *fun*.

It’s also massively time-consuming, not to mention tying up my computer for hours. There’s a reason that I didn’t major in education. And I got at least six more weeks of this to go.

Sorry to keep complaining about this, but I gotta tell somebody.

  1. I hear ya. Ensuring Spawn does the token work he’s assigned /and/ makes it to his online class sessions is taxing. Particularly since I work from home full time, and my co-workers occasionally need to interact with me, so I’m not always able to drop everything to go ride herd on him.

At least I don’t have to share my computer since I tend to build myself a new one regularly. Spawn has his own hand-me-down machine he can use for all of that (in addition to the school-assigned tablet).

As the saying goes, “This, too, shall pass”

  2. I can’t even imagine how much of a pain this is .. and I used to teach Sunday School.

  3. It’s especially annoying when they’re enthusiastic little angels when their mother is helping them, but break out the cask of passive aggressive defiance for you.
