But geez. Those guys were Nazis. These are Americans. You leave them alone, at some point they will go and kill more Nazis. What is your victory condition here, vengeful spirits? What is the resolution that you truly seek?
This is getting a digital release next month, and damned if I know if that’s because it was always going to be that way, or whether GHOSTS OF WAR is yet another casualty of the coronavirus. Probably the former, but it’s a great excuse, hey?
One of my favorite ghost movies is The Changeling. Not only is it creepy as can be, but ultimately, a great injustice is healed.
I’d hope this movie would take the same path. What a waste, if not.
You could make a legit good horror story about trying to help a vengeful spirit, right up to the point where you discover that the spirit doesn’t care about ‘repentance.’ I’m sure there’s a bunch of them out there, too.
That’s the plot for like half-a-dozen episodes of Supernatural
