I didn’t even know CALL OF DUTY: BLACK OPS COLD WAR was coming out.

But… okay, that got my attention.

    It’s one of those things. All the right people hate it for it to rate at least “Doesn’t Suck.”

    1. Yes, but this has worked for me in the past as a touchstone. First season of Jack Ryan and The Death of Stalin come to mind. ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. I’m disappointed Activision pulled the first trailer, though.
    China had an absolute cow about the iconic shot of Tank Man at Tianaman Square. (As well as other things.)
    The revised version is still worth seeing, but whitewashing the PRC make it about a minute shorter. (You can still find the first version, but China invests heavily in tech companies, so there’s a game of whack-a-mole going on.)

    It’s evidently good to own 5% of a company outright, and control distribution to a significant fraction of the playerbase, if you wish to prevent criticism
