That didn’t look right.
It was like they cut everything open, piled all the powder together, and touched it off.
…or they went for a “controlled detonation” without checking probable yield. I also notice… it went from “illegal fireworks” to “homemade explosive”. Now, there are certainly things out there that are described pretty well by both phrases, but there’s some important distinctions in meaning between them.
