    I would have been perfectly happy to learn about from Honest Trailers. And react with “well, that happened” followed by “glad I missed it”.

    I don’t think the reaction is unkind, but I’m certain it has elements of attempting to gently explain that the new production has rather misunderstood the source material … and that saying “never mind” may be appropriate.
