There’s a You guys have lots of discretionary income still, right? 1980s vibe going on here, and I suspect that the references to fatherhood are likewise deliberately and carefully highlighted. A lot of people from my particular sub-demographic of our generation didn’t really know theirs.

It looks like it’s got a surprising amount of depth, with a full throated defense of escapism, imagination, and the wonder of childhood hidden behind the explosions.
