Wikipedia page says it’s a spin off of Star Trek Discovery, which… well, tells me everything I need to know.
To be fair, Pike and Co. were one of the rare bright spots in an otherwise grimdark STD. This is the only NuTrek I have any hope of not collapsing under the weight of it’s own smugness.
