…to one cup regular, one cup decaf. My wife needs to cut back her own intake, so I decided to cut back myself to see if switching to decaf was an achievable goal. Besides, I figured: how much difference would that make? Well, for starters it seems to have given me a permanent -3 to my saving throws vs. nap. Intellectually, I knew I was sleep deprived. But the lower caffeine level is just making my body go Nope. Time for bed, friend.
The heck of it is, I might keep up with this anyway. I very possibly just need to… sleep more? Maybe it’d be good for me, and stuff?
God, it feels awful just to type that out.
I remember my own times cutting back on coffee and you’ve my sympathies because I still have that -3. What’s worse is when my body decides to just go ahead and pull the plug right I’m online or reading or watching something and it’s just getting good. So yeah, I guess we both need to start listening to our bodies. After all, I still want a lifespan that rivals Louis Wu’s or Lazarus Long’s! ^_~
Ug.
Decaffeinated coffee is like non-alcoholic tequila. Is there a point beyond sadomasochism?
I’ve cut down on my caffeine intake, so I feel ya.
