Far be it from me to stop people from clicking this Amazon link and giving me some of that sweet, sweet affiliate cash, but: I’ve never been really wowed with the stuff Amazon offers for Prime Day. It’s not awful, but it’s not really spectacular, either. It feels like something an algorithm came up with – and not even corporate is all that impressed with the results.
I guess I just don’t know why they bother.
It’s a good time to buy an Amazon tablet or e-reader, if you need one.
(I might break down and buy a new kindle. The kids set a bag of canned goods on my primary a couple months back, and the screen didn’t survive. I’ve got a backup, but the battery is nearly toast.)
I’ve gotten really good deals on flash drives and SD cards a couple of times.
But yeah, mostly hype.
Much more “I’ve been meaning to get this, and I likely won’t find a better price” than “OMG! The deals! Must impulse purchase all the things!”
