I’m not exactly sure what’s going on, here. It might simply be that Modiphius isn’t interested in doing further Conan RPG material. Or maybe there’s something else going on. At any rate: if you buy the game already, now is the time to finish your collection. They plan to have their stock emptied by June of 2023.

Well, it seems to be pretty congenial on both sides. Given how many books got produced in that RPG line, I could honestly believe that it’s what they’re saying. “Part of our creative process is that we mine the original Conan books for lore, and convert that over and expand on it a bit to make our sourcebooks. We’ve pretty much worked our way through the original material at this point, and it’s not worth it to try to scavenge the dregs that are left.”
Oh, agreed. It’s just that usually people in this business… well, let’s just say that drama is not unknown. 🙂
