Short version: you know, M3GAN wasn’t half-bad.
Slightly longer version: Older Son wanted to see M3GAN, so I took him to it because this is how you encourage your kids to go to the movies, right? Turns out he made a good call. M3GAN is PG-13, so the gore is considerably toned down than, say, VIOLENT NIGHT; but it’s a pretty good movie about mad killer androids that also says some interesting things about why you really do have to do the emotional heavy lifting needed to process your grief. It’s also not bad at making you feel that you’re apparently not that awful a parent, which is nice. Check it out.
