I never had a Nintendo 64, you see. My parents got me a Commodore 64 for school instead of a game system for fun, and the first dedicated game system I ever really played on was the Sega one of my college roommates had. But I gather from Joe Cunningham that this is a pretty big deal?

It’s going to be a pretty big deal if you’re a millenial of the right cohort. Wasn’t ever my thing, but a lot of the slightly-younger-than-me dudes that I went to college with are probably thrilled.
Quite a gap between the Commodore 64 and the Nintendo 64.
For the time, it was a great game. Maybe even revolutionary.
But comparing it to modern multiplayer FPSs would go as poorly as comparing Bard’s Tale on your Commodore to Planescape: Torment.
