On the one hand, she watched this, growing up.
On the other hand: I watched GI JOE, growing up. Then I caught it again, after a few years had passed, and the animation was sheer, unadulterated torture for me. I worry, like Frank Fleming does, that the original TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES will not age well.
Oh, well, she’s a grown woman. She can make her own decisions.
It was noticeably not all that great even at the time. I doubt it aged well.
I recommend viewing it through a thoroughly wine-and-popcorn enriched lens of nostalgia.
