Roger Zelazny’s A Night in the Lonesome October is always a good choice for this time of year. Probably too good: most of you folks probably already have it. Gimme a break, I’m still sick.

That’s OK. Any excuse to talk about that book counts as A Very Good Thing. I’ve often thought that if I ever goes a Call of Cthulhu campaign and was feeling mildly sadistic it might be fun to have the PCs stumble into the 21st Century game and be stuck in the middle as they take on one or two of the Players without any idea of what’s going. Particularly if it was a Closer or two they took down and now they had to take his place in order to keep the Openers from winning.
Anyone ever have any thoughts as to what Jack’s stats and skills would be? I’m assuming his knife skill would be 100% but apart from that I’m not too sure. 🙂
