Oh. Doxacon was a good time.

Had a different table setup, this time.

I was there primarily to see Tim Powers and meet Ken Hite, but Hal Manigold was also there, which was a nice surprise*. I did sell a sufficient number of books, though, and the panels were pretty cool. Very nice people, very nice convention, I’m interested in seeing who they’ll have next year.

Commute home was horrible, though. Google Maps started off by saying, Push this button to get a new route, which I ignored because I was driving on the freaking Beltway. Then Google Maps was all like, That wasn’t really a request, idjit. Get on Route 270 NOW, just after I saw the road signs change to ALL LANES CLOSED ON I-95 NORTH PRIOR TO [MY EXIT]. That’s always fun – but not Doxacon’s fault, obviously.

*He let me know that they’re moving ahead with a new edition of THE DAY AFTER RAGNAROK, which is excellent news, for a variety of reasons.
