RIP, David Drake.

David Drake was one of the best military science fiction writers of our time; he could also write a literal Hell of a horror story, when he put his mind to it. My condolences and prayers for his family and loved ones.

I have been informed that David Drake, fellow @BaenBooks writer, fellow veteran, and author of the excellent 𝐻𝑎𝑚𝑚𝑒𝑟’𝑠 𝑆𝑙𝑎𝑚𝑚𝑒𝑟𝑠 series, has passed away.

I like his RCN books. I am sad that there won’t be any more by his hand. May he journey under peaceful stars.
