It will cause you to double lose your cases – which is to say, you’ll first lose on the merits, and then you’ll get fined by the court for being a natural born damned fool.

The dude’s claiming he didn’t realize he was using AI, but instead went with an online consultant. …Even if that’s true, it still leads to the point: don’t rely on online consultants when real money’s on the table. Doing so here cost this dude ten grand and a botched appeal. Trust me: you never want to be the horrible example.

  1. The first thing to realize before filing pro se:
    The legal guild is much more concerned about protecting its prerogatives and the employment of its members than Justice or accessibility.

    It does not matter that lawyers have been caught using these tools to cite nonexistent laws without facing consequences being embarrassment.
    The same courtesy will NOT. be extended to you.
