GeekTyrant feels that this GODZILLA VS. KONG: THE NEW EMPIRE trailer is ‘silly.’ I’m not going to argue the point with them: this is a movie about a giant lizard with radioactive breath teaming up with a giant ape with a new PUNCHIN’ GLOVE. It is not easy to make that solemn, and I don’t think that the studio really tried. So GeekTyrant’s point is valid. This will be silly.
Still going to see it in theaters, though. Because, in the end, I am quite silly, too.
Silly is a benefit for me, as long as it’s a silliness that doesn’t attack its audience.
I looks like fun, but….Hollywood.
There is no evidence in the trailer that the almost mandatory stronk minority deviant is prominent the cast, but I’ll await conformation before giving them money.
