Watched the first episode of the live action: AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER.

So, yeah, it’s good. I mean, it’s going to be different from the animated AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER, but the first episode was a lot of fun. The kid they got playing Sokka is particularly good, especially when he screams*.

I’ll be watching the other episodes when I need a break from something.

*Uncle Iroh needs just a little bit of calibration; then again, I’ve only watched the first episode.

  1. I watched the full season and I surprisingly enjoyed it. It is not the same level of the animated show, but it was definitely worth watching.
My only issue with Iroh, is that he sounds very American, which in the animated he did not.

    1. I was prepared for that – more accurately, I was prepared for the voice to be different anyway. I feel so sorry for that actor: he’s got *so* many boiled chicken breast meals and fitness workouts in his future…
