Pat Sajak… retires.

Retires. Retires. …Don’t do that to me, Three Year Letterman.

He got me fair and square, and I’m not ashamed to admit it. Note the form and style of that Tweet, by the way. This is a masterwork that’s on a display. Art. Sheer art.

  1. Heh. 3YLetterman has been on fire lately.

Sajak was seemingly one of the few left who wasn’t a complete lunatic. I hope he enjoys a nice peaceful and LONG retirement.

  2. Is the object of the game to find all the errors? Because that looks like Regis Philbin in the picture. I don’t know anything about how this game works.

    1. 3 Year Letterman plays a long game where he comes up with the most blatantly inaccurate tweets possible, in which he says the most incredibly incorrect statements possible, and with perfect-sounding confidence. Things like “Ben Franklin was President of the United States.” “The Bible was originally written in English, because Jesus was our greatest American.” “I was tested with a 104 IQ, which was four more than the maximum.” Then he waits for people to come in and start yelling at him for being dumb. He then retweets the most unhinged responses, and then his followers just blanket-response the person who makes it.

It is beyond master-level trolling. It is art. And the best part is, Coach only does it to people who absolutely deserve it. Watching the whole thing play out is delightfully surreal, especially since we can’t quite believe that there are still people out there who aren’t in on the joke.

      1. Oh, ok, so it’s the old “how do you keep an idiot in suspense” routine, but turned up to eleven. I can see how it would be entertaining to watch people self-immolate in their responses to him.

        1. His filter is specifically designed to catch self-important lecturers who love to tell people how stupid they are, so yeah: it’s riveting to watch. 🙂
