As I said here: this is a feature of the system, not a bug. The major difference here is that the thief was unsubtle in his larceny.

Can’t say it’s surprising to hear that the plagiarism machines are being used to commit plagiarisms. The degree of obviousness would shame even an unscrupulous middle schooler, though.
So did one copy the other, or did they both get generated by AI?

“Hero on mountain, sword extended downward as their cloak blows on the wind” is pretty ubiquitous to the point of being a fantasy Trope.
Doesn’t take AI to be un-original, and whichever preceded the other still didn’t put that much into the composition.

Heh, yeah, the full textual rip-off is terrible. I still hate that over used trope cover image image.
