Chicken Pot Pie!

Homemade, too. Well, I used a pie shell. My wife inhaled quite a bit of it*, so I’m scoring it as a success.

Used this recipe. It did need more salting, but that’s an easy fix and arguably better than the alternative. Oh, and I added corn. A chicken pot pie without corn is frankly ridiculous.

*My first slice was good. My second slice was washed down with a beer, so it was even better.

  1. Christian virtue is one thing, and commendable, but denying yourself the fruits of your own labors is ascetic, bordering on the pharisaical.

  2. Also, neither of those last two adjectives is one I would drop in common conversation, but you’ve crafted a community here that appreciates precision, I think.

    1. Oh, I ATE my fill of the pie; I just did so in a measured fashion, using the lessons learned from seasoning the first slice to fine-tune the second. And to remember there was still a beer in the fridge. 🙂
