WELL NOW I AM BACK.

Hey, I got a riddle for you! When is a three hour trip a six hour trip? When everybody else on the Eastern Seaboard decides to go home on the Tuesday after Christmas, too!

Whee!

  1. This is why I avoid I-95 when traveling home from eastern North Carolina to Atlanta; sure, Google Maps thinks I-95 and I-20 is shorter and faster than I-40 and I-85, but it fails to take into account how much I-95 sucks.

    1. I feel the same way about I-75 south of Chattanooga, and I-65 in Indiana. The latter is only awful during winter snowstorms, otherwise it’s merely dull as dirt, the former involves driving through Atlanta, a feat no mortal should attempt..

Getting to Florida via I-57 to I-24 to I-65 to US-231 to I-10 adds about 100 miles, but saves time, because Atlanta and goes through Metropolis.
