…I was going to set up an appointment for Tuesday, but then family members started getting sick. My wife’s home with a cold now, in fact: which, paradoxically, means that I can more easily go to my appointment because if the kids get sent home again she can walk over and go get them. It’s really, really convenient to have the school within easy walking distance; I’m going to miss that feature when the kids hit middle school.
So, anyway, hopefully they’ll pound me on the shoulder with a mallet or give me a shot of fixyourbackinol or whatever it is that TL8 medicine does for this sort of thing. Or they’ll just tell me that it’s arthritis so sucks to you, Frisby. I’m quite keen to find out.
Given the level of activity in the Chateau Lane kitchen, if it is arthritis, you *might* want to take a look at AIP, Auto-Immune Protocol diets.
.
The full-on AIP diet *SUCKS* .. no coffee, no booze, no grain, no heat, very little sweet …
.
What I suggest is looking at eliminating one group AIP mentions – eliminating nightshades helped me quite a bit – and see what happens.

The doctor thinks that it’s garden-variety tendonitis. Thank God.
Thank the deity of your choice, indeed.
.
Think of your usual food choices. Now, think of them without tomatoes (no catsup, no marinara) potatoes (no french fries or tater tots) peppers (nothing spicy without horseradish or wasabi) or eggplant (meh) …

You didn’t answer the important question. Did you stop at Chik-Fil-A?
It’s closed for parking lot repairs, dagnabbit.
