I haven’t read Paul Malmont’s The Chinatown Death Cloud Peril: A Novel
yet. But my wife did; and when I was just complaining that I hadn’t a clue to what this week’s book of the week was she just pointed to it on the bookshelf. It’s basically a pulp adventure starring the guys who wrote the Shadow and Doc Savage, so I pretty much have no excuse for not reading it. Also, my wife is, like, wicked smart. Smarter than me, and I don’t say that sort of thing lightly. So I kind of take her opinions seriously.
She seems intelligent and likewise creative, judging from the purely-unbiased-reports-by-you-that-I-have-no-reason-to doubt. 🙂

Have you ever considered having her write a blurb on the site?
Warning to all, keep pen and paper handy to take notes, as Malcontents is not shy about dropping names and titles that you’ll want to explore later. The sequel is in the same vein but with golden age sci fi – Heinlein, Asimov, Hubbard and DeCamp among others; and I’m really hoping he does a third with noir detectives – unless someone or there doesn’t want Sam Spade, Mike Hammer, and Philip Marlow working together… Or against each other.
I recommend to your attention the sequel.

He also did one titled Jack London in Paradise but that did not appeal to me the way the first two did.
