Which is fascinatingly quiet. So very, very quiet. Whether it’ll stay quiet when I actually run games on it has yet to be seen. Nonetheless, I’ve done a weird combination of manual/automatic updates that seem to have worked reasonably well. Huzzah!
Weird posting for the rest of today, though.
Isn’t it awesome when that happens? For my new machine I built last year, I went with a closed-loop watercooler: 2 120mm fans to cool the radiator, and two more for air intakes. It’s audible but very quiet, and not at an unpleasant pitch.
Plus I got an oversized video card (takes up 3 slots instead of just 2) so both the heatsink and the fans themselves are deeper than is usual, which means they spin slower and quietly.
Plus, the fans are all covered in unicorn vomit (or frag harder disco lights), which is awesome if you like that kind of thing.
