Although I figure that most of you probably have already worked this out for yourselves.

For the new year: stop telling yourself (or letting people tell you) everything is awful, or horrible, or doomed. If you can read this, then you won the goram historical human lottery, so pull up your damned socks and be the BAMF that Mr. Rogers always believed that you could be.

For the life of me I cannot see Mr Rogers saying BAMF, much less what the acronym actually stands for.

When you speak to the people, you must use their idioms.

I cannot separate “BAMF” from how it was used as the sound for X-Men Nightcrawler’s teleportation in the comics. Very much the “Biff! Kapow!” equivalent.
