TROLL is a movie about a giant troll waking up, and rampaging through Norway. This is one of those flicks where you either want to see that, or you don’t. Simple as that. My only regret is that I won’t be able to see it on a big screen.

I liked the grace notes.
“In the hall of the mountain king” was understated and pitch perfect.
The eye of the mountain, was chef’s kiss.
I worry about The Message. Daikaiju are pretty much always heavy handed, and I fear this will turn in up to eleven.
I think Trollhunter is better than this will be, even without the big epic moments.
But I’ll probably watch it.
Moe, not to be pedantic, but you absolutely can see this on a big screen.
Every multiplex has a program to rent out a Theatre, usually mornings or off peak hours. It’s pretty cheap if you have a dozen friends or so. Since it’s almost all digital now, you can plug and play anything, people even do it for video game tournaments round me.
