I don’t know this blacksmith. He’s not exactly in my circles. but I know people who know people who can and probably do have meaningful conversations with this blacksmith. If I really needed to talk to Mathieu Collette – like, I had a particular axe that absolutely needed to be repaired, using traditional techniques – I think I could trace a path to where I could get an introduction.
That bemuses me, and I’m not entirely sure why.
