12/13/2023 Snippet, TIMMY AND THE FAT MAN.

I was up too early, so I couldn’t get much done. But I’m actually not behind! We’ll see how the weekend goes.

What did it look like? It was a bird-woman, with wings for arms, snakes slithering endlessly through stringy hair, and feet like a dinosaur’s claw. Each foot also had a curved spur that fizzed green on the tip. Timmy assumed that was poison. It always was, except when it was acid.

The monster was skinny, but when she gripped the lip of the roof as she levered herself over it pieces of brick broke off, so she was still strong. Her face had all the right bits, but everything was too narrow and too sharp, including the glare as she focused on Grungy. She was absolutely here for him.

From the look in his eyes, Grungy knew it, too.
