Today, I am slightly vexed: there’s a couple of books available that I normally could have just gone on ahead to buy and read. Alas, the first is ridiculously overpriced (Kindle books should not cost more than the trade paperbacks!), and the second is a depressing reminder that the last decade or so has been uniquely good in inducing brain-worms in what used to be first-rate literary minds. I’m gonna try Mysterious Albion (Vatican Vampire Hunters Book 1) by Paul Leone, instead. At least it’s something that is self-evidently pertaining to my interests.
