And yes, I know that THE LORD OF THE RINGS: THE WAR OF THE ROHIRRIM is anime. That’s one of the reasons why I want to see it. I think the aesthetic is a good fit.

I think the aesthetic is a good fit.
I also think that making the protagonist a bit character from the footnotes whom Tolkien never even bothered giving a name is a huge stretch, at best.
I’m fully expecting a girlboss Mary Sue.
