GOOGLE MUST NOT GET RID OF ITS 8-BIT VERSION.

Look, I know that this is supposed to be an April Fools’ Day joke:

…but here’s the thing: it’s remarkably faster to navigate through Google Maps when it’s in 8-bit format.  I don’t know how other people use the map, but I generally go bird’s eye, then drill down when I’m in about the right position: a low-resolution view is perfect for the first part, and I can always click on a more detailed view when I need it.  Put another way: you know that sliding scale thing on the side of Google Maps? I actually prefer an 8-bit format when the pointer is at the halfway point or below.  The map loads faster – and it looks better than the ‘map’ version, in its way.

Forget putting this on the NES: I want them to keep the format generally.
