I know that you’re going to hate this, but here goes: when it comes to Republicans, swing votes, or even not-crazy Democrats/liberals* who are in full disillusionment mode… smile and nod when they whisper to you how awful it’s all become, and how none of it turned out the way that they thought that it would. Be sympathetic. Console. I think that it was Ace of AoSHQ who noted that what these people need to hear is that it’s all right for them to recant. They were misled and lied to. They didn’t deserve to be tricked.
Yes, this will be hard. But the goal is to get those whispers of discontent turned into shouts, so suc…h is life.

So AFTER the election, can we return to shouting and blaming them for the utter stupidity that is Obama? Because, it really is their own dang fault. They were amply warned in 2008.
A lot of people who voted for O’Bama in 2008 won’t be voting in in 2012 and maybe never again. They still have no idea how much damage they’ve done, especially to themselves.
