They are, perhaps, a little alarmed at the idea that those who have been done unto by Obama might be eager and able to do some ‘unto’ of their very own:
Republicans are drawing on an unlikely source of inspiration as they pummel President Obama over his comment that the private sector economy is “fine.”
Consider, if you will, the similarity between Obama’s 2008 ad targeting John McCain’s most infamous gaffe — “the fundamentals of our economy are strong” — and the web video put out this afternoon. (As I’m writing this, I see that Obama has already backpedaled on his comment in a subsequent White House event.)
…but perhaps I am being cynical. Or reading too much into it. Or perhaps they’re actually on the ragged edge of panic. All I know is, it’s going to be a fascinating week.
Revenge can be sweet. Especially when delivered on the opponents own plate
I’m all agog to find out just how long the R. campaign can go by simply cutting and pasting the DNC ads. It’s also damned pleasing that the R.s have figured out they can actually do that.
Like I’ve been saying at some point this Summer it’s going to dawn on the MSM that O’Bama is not going to get re-elected and they are going to turn on him. It won’t be pretty bad should be satisfying. Some of the things I’m seeing are pointing to that starting to happen, now. Never underestimate what bit of utter stupidity can come out of a Democrats mouth.
Moe,
1,000 internet points for smoking out the renegade redneck.
Hey Ric,
