Lovecraft’s works are in the public domain. They were not renewed by Arkham House, and he died over 70 years ago.
The other factor here — which, by the way, prevented And To Think That I Saw It On Unknown Kadath from coming out in my Mini Mythos series — is that the Geisel estate is rumored to be very litigious, and to take a dim view of parody.
Ah.
So, when can we expect another Mini Mythos book? My eldest is getting to the age where we can put the existing ones into the rotation.
John Nephew at Atlas has basically agreed he wants another one, and he just needs to contract me. Maybe next summer?
