    Got dragged along into a craft store today. They had Halloween decorations out. Not even kidding.

  2. And the day after Halloween, the Christmas stuff goes on display, and the carols start, so that by Christmas eve, everything associated with it enrages me to the point I just want to kill…everyone really.

    Don’t get me wrong: I LOVE Christmas with my family, but the hype starts in mid October, now (or earlier), and by Thanksgiving, it’s all one hears.

    1. I get that this is about the prospect of Alan Grayson being the Fl. Senate candidate, but seeing a Christmas carol posted in mid July has reset my “Christmas Rage Clock” ahead by three months….

      1. I avoid stores that sell christmas-related items from mid-October to mid-December.

        I use a DVR to skip christmas-themed commercials. (well, all of the commercials, actually…)

        Mrs. Cat starts listening to christmas music the day after Thanksgiving, but limits my exposure by using headphones.

        I’m willing to let this slide as “Moe celebrating christmas in July” .. there was a twinge, though.

        1. I bet it’s closer to Moe’s birthday than to Christmas…? Anyways, bad as Christmas overload annoys me, I’m just teasing Moe, really…mostly. 😉
