Annnnnd not a single number in Powerball.

I’ll be honest: I’m not what you’d call upset. That’s a hell of a lot of money and it probably would have screwed up my life at least a little and in at least the short term. And, frankly, it’s not like I needed it in the first place.

But will I buy another ticket if nobody wins tonight and the prize goes over a billion?   Very possibly. I mean, I can always hire a therapist, right?

  1. I went in for a “Lotto bundle” that the local supermarket offered. 5 tickets to the various lotteries. Out of 23 numbers, I got one of them. Oh well. One lottery purchase every 5-6 years won’t kill me.

  2. As long as you don’t have a moral objection, you should play. The odds for Powerball are about 1 in 298 million. In other words, as long as each dollar you risk can bring back 298 million dollars, math says go for it.
