Because I am going to go watch this film. I am going to watch the HELL out of this film. It’s coming out on February 5th, and the only reason why I haven’t reserved tickets yet is because I don’t really expect it to be sold out, more’s the pity:
I understand that the basic conceit became trite and overdone, but the original book was great fun. I look forward to seeing the movie version. Because sometimes things get to be just for me, OK?
Zombies are not my thing, so I will take a pass. However I hope you enjoy!
The premise is entertaining enough. It is your endorsement alone that stays my initial impression of Token Female Warrior-babe MarySue.
Well, the conceit fro P&P&Z was to take the female characters from the novel and turn them into sword-wielding zombie killers while changing as little of the original text of P&P as possible. The author was amazed how little of that he had to do. Heck, he even managed to clear up a minor mystery of P&P (just why WAS there a regiment hanging out near the Bennet estate, anyway?)
