ZOMG guys have you have ever heard of “X Minus One”?!? Wow.

X Minus One was this NBC radio show from the Fifties; they did all sorts of classic science fiction story adaptations.  I found out about it after I grabbed a Fallout 4 mod that lets you play extra radio stations; imagine my shock when I tuned to one and started listening to Ray Bradbury’s “Mars is Heaven.”  …Which is not the one below. The one below is Bob Heinlein’s “The Green Hills of Earth,” and they didn’t mess with it any more than they had to.

Way cool. I mean, seriously, WAY cool. This is one of my favorite Bob Heinlein stories. They did it justice.

Damned dusty in here.

  1. I must investigate this further.
    .
And raise a silent toast to Ashley Williams, who was going to quote the poem, but was prevented by IP laws and uncooperative heirs.

  2. Busy crying, of course.
I made up verses for all the planets.
Amazingly my tune(in my head) was very close to this.
