I’ve been meaning to listen to this album for a while now.

I had another one planned, but Nelson Mandela died.
[UPDATE: Let me explain that one, actually: my first choice could have been seen as a tacit criticism of Mandela, instead of a tacit one of Obama. This one has nothing to do with Mandela, either.]

I live in fear of the day that they decide to just do a no-fooling, ostensibly straightforward, remake of The Wizard of Oz. I fully expect that it will suck.

I consistently got carded until I was thirty or so.
I didn’t have a driver’s license until I was in my thirties. There were complications with getting a non-driver’s ID: long story, but mostly involving the stupid learner’s permit and never getting around to taking the driving test.
Anyway, carrying around a passport in order to have a damned beer kind of sucked.
