I think that I’ve mentioned, but: I can’t help but think that, when I look at an elephant, there’s maybe some kind of person in there. I am thus a little leery of being too cavalier towards the species. Elephants, pretty much all cetaceans, most of the greater primate species, and a couple of species of parrots. Those are all on my Better Safe Than Sorry list.
Plus, again: cyborg elephants are cool.
