It was that kind of day where you want to bounce spoons off of the heads of people who should have really known better than to do the spoon-bounce-worthy activity. I do have to remember that one does, indeed, get days like this; fortunately, so does the Other Side. And they have to go around pretending that they’re going to win, too!
No, I’m not sure why they’re bothering, either. Force of habit? Pride? Waiting for the check to clear? It is, as they say, a puzzler.
