The ENNIEs are fan-based TTRPG awards, given at GenCon. This year, Emily Dresner and Kevin Kulp’s SWORDS OF THE SERPENTINE scored nominations for Best Cover Art, Best Setting, Best Writing, and Product of the Year. Em and Kevin are both good people (I’ve known Emily Dresner since the long-lost days of the In Nomine Mailing List, and there’s a bunch of people from that who went on to have interesting writing careers*); also, a few of us here helped playtest the rules, way back when. You can safely assume I am rooting for Pelgrane Press to sweep the awards.
I really need to run a SotS congame, too. Maybe next year…
